The project
Online news media is having an impact on the sales of the Guardian’s newspaper broadsheet. To increase the Guardian’s sales, the paper is giving away extras, in this case the original 1954 Godzilla movie. Our task was to advertise it on the site, inspire to buy with an email and create a landing page.
The idea
After watching the film, we decided on a route using the blockbuster’s original look and feel, complete with stomping monster. We concepted and oversaw the production of a successful banner and email campaign with a landing page, which included the original film trailer (our idea was later adopted by AMV).
