
Ali gets inspired on carrot and pineapple cake with lemon frosting

Ali has more than 18 years’ writing experience. She understands digital media like the back of her hand. She champions ‘tone of voice’ or the way brands speak to their customers and writes flawless, eye-catching copy.
Ali has written 13 books on interior design after a working at ELLE Decoration for a number of years. ‘Contemporary Glamour’ was The Times ‘Interior book of the year in 2002’.
She’s also been the editor, then managing editor of a free-skiing magazine, FALL-LINE.
In 1999, Ali moved into digital and started as a copywriter at OgilvyOne, later becoming Head of Copy/Associate Creative Director.
She left in 2003 and has since worked for a mix of pure-play and integrated agencies, including AKQA, DLKW and Agency.com on some of the world’s most exciting brands, including NIKE, Guinness, O2 and BMW.
